(Nasdaq: ZBRA) attaches RFID tags in player equipment and footballs, transmitting real-time location data to receivers positioned around the stadium that gather metrics such as player speed, distance traveled, orientation and acceleration.
The company will be holding a press conference that will be live streamed at Facebook.com/ZebraTechnologiesGlobal on Jan. 29, 3:30 to 4 p.m. ET. to discuss its collaboration with the NFL. It will take place at Super Bowl LIV Media Center in the Miami Beach Convention Center.
